Sport frame performance

Sport frames are characterized for having a pronounced wrapping angle presenting the lens in a tilted position respect to the main direction of sight.

Due to strong obliquity the optical performance in sport frames has traditionally been much worse than in standard frames. This is produced by a combination of prismatic effect and oblique aberrations that are usually stronger in these lenses.

Digital Ray-Path technology minimizes the loss of optical quality in sport frames due to its oblique aberration optimization and prismatic effect compensation.
